Disability Inclusive Democracy: Building Participatory Societies

Building on the 2021 Summit for Democracy this side event will explore innovative approaches and challenges in promoting disability-inclusive democracy globally. The intent is to crowd source the most significant issues stakeholders identify in the areas of access to voting, elections, and civic engagement. The information collected will inform actions stakeholders in government and civil society can take to improve access and inclusion for persons with disabilities in local, state, and national election cycles.
